It is pathetic that Kefee, a young and vibrant Nigerian gospel artist died June 13 in Los Angeles, California. Kefee embarked on a 14 hour trip to Chicago to Lagos but the pilot had to and urgently in Los Angeles when she went into coma. The death of Kefee is a rude shock to many of her colleagues and fans all over the world.
Kefee’s profile became instant hit when she released Branama 1 and 2. She won several awards with Kokoroko, a love song that sold out and got out many performance deals. Kokoroko produced by ace producer K-solo featured Timaya.
Kefee’s last TV interview was the one she granted the TVC entertainment splash in Lagos.

Kefee was married to Alec Godwin and they both part ways letting out several messy information about their private lives through press interviews.
Kefee’s marriage to Alec Godwin her former manager ended in 2008 after three years.
Kefee married Teddy Esosa Don Momoh, a presenter with Star FM 101.5 FM in 2012.The traditional wedding was low key.
Kefee said in one of her previous interviews that she was writing a book on her first marriage.
The cause of Kefee’s death was attributed to Pregnancy Induced Hypertension.
